Comments sought by May 26th on new stem cell guidelines

The National Institutes of Health recently issued draft guidelines creating a framework for federal funding of embyonic stem cell research pursuant to the President's Executive Order. The public has until May 26th to comment on these guidelines. NIH will be analyzing both the content and volume of comments they receive during this period as they consider changes to the draft.

Great opportunity for people to let NIH know what they think about the proposed policies. They are the policies that will be used to guide federal funding of human stem cell research. Your link contains lots of info on stem cells, "FAQs", a link to the draft guidelines and a link to submit comments.

Thanks Art!

Since I am DX with PPMS (11 yrs.) and having taken part in the copaxon trial @ OSU' it seems to me that embryonic stem cell research makes more sense than anything out there right now. To date everything "they" have tried has been a proven FAILURE!! How can anyone expect to cure anything when "they" don't know the cause??
At least this is a step in the right direction!! Find the CAUSE, find the CURE.
