Remyelination Visualization

Normally I wouldn't post this, but the humor value compels me.

Remyelination is an important repair strategy being investigated for MS. We currently don't have very good methods of determining if remyelination is occuring in MS and it would be great to be able to detect it via MRI.

So when I saw the title of this article, I was very excited. The link goes to the full text of the article. You should read it. All one paragraph of it. That's the whole article. I can't believe you can get published with one data point and one paragraph. And two different views of one picture.

And you thought science publication was lots and lots of writing.

I do not think that further explanation is required. The comments added to the image are in fact relevant and informative, and stablish clearly, and probably for first time, a relationship between High field MRI images and post-mortem findings. I find it interesting as it is.

To be clear - I didn't say it wasn't interesting. I would just expect publication in a journal to require more than a single data point. Reproducibility and all...
